StackFoundry has released an open source hardware development board ("Copper") featuring the AVR32 UC3B1256 microcontroller, packing it all onto a 0.6 inch wide footprint DIP module allowing for easy breadboard use and experimentation. It is fully programmable using the USB Device Firmware Upgrade functionality of the AVR32 microcontroller and includes connector option for JTAG. Buttons are provided on board to place the device in DFU mode.
