Has anyone had this problem with quickcad8 on a Win982Ed system?

"QUICKCAD caused an invalid page fault in
module AC1ST15.DLL at 017f:65fe1e3b...."

Even stack dump info is identical each time.

I've tried a complete reinstall, after normal and manual cleaning. I
don't know when the original program corrupted.

Autodesk Quickcad8 support ceases officially as of Sept30, 2004.

Unofficially, there's no mention of it on the website today, Sept26,
2004.

Why wait, eh?

I found a replacement DLL. Something to do with the old one mimicking
a recent version of the Kaspersky virus.

I bought this piece of shit and it hangs up in WIN ME, too. I use the last
freeware version of Intellicad so it didn't matter much. I only bought the
quickcad to convert one type of file that inellicad couldn't do. The version of
Autocad Light I bought for Win 3.1 still runs perfect, never crashes, and does
everything I need.
