Australian Gov Surplus ??

I'm trying to find a website that lists surplus test equipment that the
Aust. Gov. may have for sale at auctions.

Something like the US sites, http://web.govliquidation.com// however I can't
seem to find anything comparable in Australia. Anyone have any good links
????

I am almost certain that even that function has been privatised in
Government departments. I think you will find that they all have a
deal with one of the larger auction houses to dispose of stuff they
don't want. You will have to find out what is being auctioned by
inspecting newspaper ads or looking up the details on the various
auction websites.

Basically keep an eye on the papers for the name/web-sites of the bigger
auction places, but I think the main ones have now been mentioned.

In this country, Department/Section heads run their own businesses which
put in tenders to buy the surplus.
