Audio and Video output from TV

Hello, I am having problems trying to connect my tv to a digial surround
sound receiver(Marantz SR5500). My TV has input sockets only which are 2
scart, one s-video, composite video and left and right audio.
Is there anyway I change one of the inputs to become and output port?

Are there any other alternatives I could try?

Thanks
Andrew

Why don't you connect the sources to the reciever directly and run the
TV from its outputs? That's SOP.

Ahh, forgot to add something. I need to channel the input from the tv to the
receiver so that I can display the picture on a projector which is connected
to the receiver.

Ah. Tough luck. Can't you get another tuner for the projector?

What you really need is the proper type of TV set. To have A/V outputs will
be an involved design add-on, that would not be feasible.

Another solution is to get a descent HiFi stereo VCR, and use it as a tuner
with its A/V outputs. Then you can feed your TV set from this, just for the
video portion.
