Haven't had time to listen to anything to date. PS, the Sonken stuff still
does not have the appeal of the Bose. Its just a DVD player and a few
surround sound speakers. If I wanted a standard DVD Player and the surround
sound speakers I would keep my LG lifestyle system.

One of the common Blose tricks is to heavily EQ the signal to make up for
the deficencies in the speakers - I have a pair of Bose video mates (
enemies ?) in the kitchen that do this Trick - what this means is that they
may sound fine at lowish Listening levels but as soon as you start turning
up the volume they Distort like ..... well they distort like Bose so if you
are going to insist on Bose go back to the store and crank them up before
plonking down your hard earned on overpriced, under performanced, crap.

**Good idea. It's unlikely to be inferior to the Bose.
