Can I use this signal to drive an LED for visual indication ?

Is there a need? If it's "good" the other 5v or 12v lines will work (to
which a led is easy to attach), if not the psu will shut down.

This is usually the output of some comparator like LM393.. Should be able
to sink 10ma no problem.

I beleive this signal is low if power is good.
