Assura RCX unknown device

Guest
Im trying to do a full chip extraction and its aborts saying that that
it has an unknown device. The chip passes LVS and the block thats
being flagged extracts by itself.

Any ideas?

Based on my experience, this can happen if your rcx deck does not match your lvs deck.

But your information is a little vague...

What does this mean?

The block that fails when instantiated will extract by itself, not
instantiated

I was able to get a clean extract run. Other cells instances of the
same master was flagged on an RC run. I checked the name, instance,
etc..
anc could not find any problems. VXL was flagging them as out of
date, not sure why since everything matched. I deleted and re-
instantiated
these cells and it worked.
