Assura post-layout sim with standard cells

In Diva it is possible to do a macro-mode extraction, so as
to extract only the top-level of the hierarchy and keeping
instances in the extracted view. This allows to run
top-level LVS and to run post-layout simulation with
standard cells for which layout is not provided and so
full extraction is not possible.

In such a flow one can use the schematic of the standard
cell for simulating, while introducing the parasitics due
to interconnects on higher levels of hierarchy. In essence
the extracted view contains the same hierarchy as the
layout view with added parasitics.

I found the same is possible in assura LVS with the
?blackBox parameter, which allows not to compare
the cell itself but its connections only. This works, however
when using RCX after such a LVS pass, the black box
cells do not appear as instances in the av_extracted
view, thus making it impossible to simulate post-layout.

I couldn't be able to get the same behavior as in diva,
nor find a different flow to allow parasitics simulation
with cells whose full layout is not available.
Is it possible ?

Thanks,

stéphane

Stephane:
You can generate a dspf file. You can specify all the standard cells
with a property called dspfcells I think.
