ASIC companies' relationship to SV methdologies

I've been at a few companies and they all seem to have very cynical
views of SV methodologies (at best), and usually see them as
experimental toys that don't apply to their complex ASICs.

Are EDA companies doing anything to address these attitudes toward new
technology--showing the $'s and ? Isn't this what Accellera for?
