An idea...

If you're selling a vintage collectable transistors (CK722, etc.) and would
like them tested with a vintage Tektronix curve tracer, contact me.
(Address on www.ai.uga.edu/mc.) A fair deal might be: I test a handful of
CK722s for you, give you digital camera images of the curves, and get to
keep one.

Just an idea...

"In the core C# language it is simply not possible to have an uninitialized
variable, a 'dangling' pointer, or an expression that indexes an array
beyond its bounds. Whole categories of bugs that routinely plague C and C++
programs are thus eliminated." - A. Hejlsberg, The C# Programming Language

Does it include a certificate of authentication showing that it was
indeed tested on a vintage curve tracer? I gather with collectibles,
it's important to have full documentation.

It could, of course!

I should add, however, that I hope people won't feel the authenticity has
been lost because my curve tracer now has a custom-made adapter with modern
ZIF sockets for quick insertion and removal of transistors. I suppose for
*real* authenticity I could find some mid-20th-century clip leads!

Yeah, and a cal cert showing it hasn't been touched since the 60s!

Collectors are a weird bunch...If you test it, it will be worth less and lose
its *mint* condition.

With collectibles, the important thing is provenance. With antique
transistors, their performance is so mediocre that the performance would
have little to do with the value. Obviously if it's DOA, then it's no
performance whatsoever, and I'd consider that grounds for a refund.
