Hi,

Could someone who is familiar with Cadence's Specific-Driven
Environment help me with these problems that I have been encountering.
I'm trying to learn the Characterization and Modeling Environment (CME)
feature by trying and following the tutorial that is included in
Cadence's documentation. I ran into two problem, when i clicked on
"Generated and Run" in the "Spectre VCME Setup" I kept getting error
messages that complains about the models in basicModels.scs (npn and
pnp) are bein redefined and VSdE session is terminated. I have set
enviroment setting for ACV_ROOT and ACVDEMO.

Also, what are the difference between the dcmui and verui files. In
the "Spectre VCME Setup" window, I found out that the verui has alot
less setting (e.g., the Verilog settings are missing).
