Anyone using GPL CVer?

Anyone had any luck with this simulator
(http://www.pragmatic-c.com/gpl-cver/)?

It compiled only after I removed the 'ARCHFLGS= -march=pentiumpro'
line from the Linux makefile. The regression tests failed - lots of
error messages and core dumps. It does run some very simple
simulations, but even then $write and $display don't work properly,
which makes life difficult.

Works fine for me. I use it fairly often when I'm mucking around with
PLI routines.

It could be your distro. Contact them and find out.
