Potentially useful for field use or a hobby bench, but just as with any
"all-in-one" tool, relatively useless when you need to be able to access
multiple displays/generators simultaneously in real time.

How does it compare price-wise to the myriad Chinese offerings which've been
around for almost as long as USB?

**My thoughts too. My Rigol digi-scope does most of what that thing
does, BUT the Red Pitaya is open source. When/if the price drops a bit
and more applications become available, it could be an interesting thing.
