Don't be so cynical. This is 'genuine' free Internet from the
Ionosphere! Unlimited gigawatts of it.

Yeah Right.
And as a linguist you may notice that, unlike mathematics, your expression
of two positives has actually created a negative. ;-))

<chuckle>
Hark back a few years in the 'good ole days' of the
dotcom boom when there actually *were* free ISPs.
They didn't stay around for very long.

Seems like this 'onlinehome.us' service is just an
email-address harvesting ploy or a variant of MLM.

Multi-Level-Marketing.
ie. you buy a 'product' and recruit others to buy from you.

You get a percentage from their 'sales' and some from
the people that they have recruited.
It's like a pyramid, where the only ones that make
any money are the ones at the top of the scheme in the
early stages of the scam.
It sounds wonderfull and easy, but the 'products' are
either non-existant, or crap, or grossly overpriced.

Amway is the classic example of MLM.

There's 'real' MLM's and then there's scams, which I'd tend to put 'free
Internet' into, in which case it's way more likely to be a Ponzi scheme. It
begs the question of why do you need a 'downstream' if it's free. Answer -
it aint, hence Mr. Ponzi returneth.

OmegaTrend (www.omegatrend.com) is one of the big Australian based MLM
scams.
Thousands have been sucked into thinking they can actually make money
out of selling this rubbish to their friends and convincing them to
join the pyramid.
They run big elaborate presentation seminars and it can all get very
religous and ra-ra, a-la Anthony Robbins

Speaking of the old pyramid, I got the "send 10 bucks, add your name
to the list and mail to 200 others" letter in the mail today. The good
old fashioned snail mail version with a stamp and hand written
address!
Guess some poor suckers haven't realised you can now run scams for
free on the net :-/

Dave :)

Thanks Guys for the info.I always wondered what you called those idiots like
AMWAY, HERBALIFE etc...
Its really sad that they seem to prey on peoples dreams of working from home
and earning a good income.

Cheers
Joe
