Anyone here has an epson 820? ever build a chip resetter?

I have an epson 820 printer. I am wondering if anyonehere has a chip
resetter that you need in order to refill the ink cartridges.

AFAIK it's possible to do this via software. Search for "epson chip reset"
(without quotes) at Google.
