I have just been given a "Biddle Versapot", model 72-311. My question is, wtf
is/does this thing do? It's panel says "calibrator/potentiometer". I haven't
had any luck with searching the net, so I thought I'd ask in the ng's. Thanks.

I opened it up to see it's clean, and has lots of batts. Don't want to replace
the batts without more info. It looks like it could be useful, if I knew what
its application was... Thanks again.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

--if I knew what its application was--
Not a clue.
Sorry again.

Perhaps you can contact James G. Biddle in Plymount Meeting, Pa.,,,I know
they're still in business and I think the new name is "Biddle Instruments"..try
a reference book for the accuracy of this information and when found, they may
be able to supply with all the specs. of the unit at hand.
Rgds.
