in center image there is a white smt device with blue square on top.
another one on the board got away,I beleive its a low pf capacitor
and wondered if the blue color meant anything.

Unfortunely, need to know exact pF of this. Find a friend who have
capacitance meter to measure it for you and get correct one.

Blue is the ink. The capacitors are solid color (white, tan, brown,
even shades of purple.

What is this board with that part in question?

Cheers,

http://pages.ripco.net/~a2k/usbwlan.pdf a wireless lan client adapter

what I have is a subsequent model of this with just one antenna instead
of two,the capacitor I lost (dont ask how) is in the same position that
c37 or c64 would be in the upper left corner.

I have a cap meter but getting an accurate reading from something the
size of a large sand grain is beyond me.

You bet, we do sometimes, take two needles and rest is up to your task
to get both needles hooked up to this cap meter. Carefully put sharp
tip on either end of this cap. By the way if you need to get cap out
of circuit, it is easier to just get cap removed and resolder one end
of cap to the solder pad of your circuit board with other cap's end
away as a third hand.

Cheers,

Wizard
