AMBA DesignWare IP from Verilog?

Hi,
I am curious of any experience you may have (success/failure) in
the use of Synopsys's DesignWare AMBA IP from a Verilog testbench, and
also if there are environments it works better from, like if it works
better with Vera, or from the C interface.
Another alternative we could explore would be the System C AMBA
models from ARM, if that has proven more successful. We already use
testBuilder, so we aren't afraid of System C :)

You may want to talk to your friendly local ASIC vendor as well.
I know that Atmel has equivalent circuits and you would not pay any money to
ARM for that.
