am transmitter linear amp

I need help finding or building a simple am linear amp. I would like from .5
to 1 amp from the Broadcast band to 30 mc. I have a signal generator and
would like to up the output a little bit. Any kit or link to a homebrew site
would be great.

so it appears that this would be in violation of part 15 low power am
transmitters, unless I am a licensed ham or the output had less then a 100
mw ERP on a less then 9 foot antenna. Thanks for the info.
