Altium Designer 6.8

I recently received an ad from Altium on their software package. But when I
went to their website Altium.com I found plenty of information but no price
tag. I have used ORCAD and AUTOCAD in the past when I was employed, but
they are also expensive either to an uninformed employer or an electrical
engineer that has landed the job yet. Are vendors reluctant to share
pricing information just in case either the employer or employee actually
meet?

Then of course there is the other problem of work experience or going into
business for yourself and not knowing what to do when no employees show up.
Or whether the cad equipment is the full package that might actually be
needed. Let's not forget the employer's unknown application, cad alone will
not solve all his or her problems.

Generally, a cover letter or resume is not enough to land a job or business.
Research and preparation for the job or
business is part of the overall process.

"I got mine off ebay for less than Ł20 !"

Note that Marra is the author of the software he's pimping here, so apparently
he takes Ł20 out of his left back and then puts it back in his right pocket...

His software might be worth the Ł20, although he's unfortunately made himself
a reputation of being a very poor businessman, spamming newsgroups and not
divulging significant conflicts of interest.

His eBay feedback is all positive -- the negatives have been mutually
withdrawn -- although you do get some comments about his software such as

How on earth do you spam 3 people ?
Surely if I was spamming it would be to 100's or even 1000's of
people ?

You are talking cobblers.

The person who wrote about it being rubbish was upset coz I caight him
trying to sell pirated copies !!!!!!
My solicitor sorted him out very quickly.

Unfortunately Marra's solicitor hasn't sorted his client and advised him
against fraudulently promoting his software under various identities on
Usenet.

Brad Velander.
