Seems my local radio shack has turned its back on the components
business. I know, they've been getting out of their original business
for years. Too bad they don't go belly-up completely. It's frustrating
as there's no other source of electronic components in town.

So far as I can tell, All Electronics and Electronic Goldmine don't
carry audio transformers (radio shack part was 273-1380).

I'd order online from radio shack, but reckon I may as well pick up a
few other parts and Radio Shack is too expensive; the only reason I've
ever shopped Radio Shack has been convenience / instant gratification.

Thanks in advance.

There are a couple good places in St.. Louis (where I live)besides radio
shack. I'm sure there should be some good places where you live they are
kinda hard to find though. But sometimes I order from www.partsexpress.com
