hi guys,
got an akai ct2867at 68cm telly that's died, parts that i have found failed
are as follows:
q404
q402
q403
d403
r410
these are all in the power supply, anyway, i replaced them & fired it up &
basically it blew them up again. before i turned it back on i had checked
the horizontal output transistor, & it check out ok, ive been over all the
electros in the power supply & around the eht transformer & can find no
problem caps.. i'm wondering if the eht transformer might be the culprit?
when i fired it up, the led on the front lit up for a few seconds before the
smoke got out, so i'm thinking the low voltage supply is ok.. any ideas
before i fry another set of power supply components?
cheers,
timbo.
