ADXL202JQC RS Components p/n 331-4510 $94.10....Yikes!!

Digikey have some varieties for around US$20.

I obtained a couple of samples from Analog Devices for free a couple of years ago.
You might be able to do the same...

www.memic.com.au are one of the local distributors
usually carry or can get most analog devices products

usually cheaper than RS or farnell

I think we get ours for about $15ea from the local Australian AD rep
(Unique). They had them in stock last time we got some.

That should be www.memec.com.au, the same company as Unique I mentioned
before.

I think he meant www.memec.com.au

A quick skim of their Oz site says they are
distributors for Memsic (but no Analog Devices).

They are the local distributors for analog devices
carry the adc's , dsp chips and microcontrollers etc

Have some very nice high speed adc's,
also some nice arm and 8051 chips with high speed adc's

http://www.analog.com/en/subCat/0,2879,762%255F%255F0%255F%255F0%255F,00.html

The new atmel sam7 arm chips all with usb
look nice as well (also microchip 18f usb pics are available)

Can't request samples directly from analog any more have to go
through local distributor, changed that last year.

I don't even bother in Oz, I go shopping overseas and buy a lot of stuff at
once to make it worthwhile: e.g.

I've just been reconnected to my news server so couldn't view the start of
this thread, so please forgive me if you are after production quantities,
but we use the ADXL202 in a few of our designs like the GPS Cube
(http://www.commlinx.com.au/GPS_datalogger.htm). If you are just after a
couple I'm sure we can arrange something.
