adding menu items to ADE L

I am trying to add menu items to ADE L. I also want to modify the
behavior of some of the menu items .

For example if a particular simulator is selected I want the netlister
run my skill commands instead of the native cadence netlister. I can't
find any manual in sourcelink that explains this.

Can someone help me out.

Hi,

You can check the $CDSHOME/tools/dfII/etc/tools/menus/ directory.
There are lots of examples for menus.
If I'm not mistaken, you might want to look at the simui.menus file.

The menus load documents from here, then $CDSHOME/local/menus
directory and then finally from the user's <home>/menus or <local>/
menus directory (or load your file using .cdsinit). So I think it's
best doing modifications in your home/local work area so the functions
you create can overwrite any default ones.

For documentations on it, look for the "Cadence Design Framework II
User Guide" (in document directory dfhelp, i.e. $CDSHOME/doc/dfhelp).
