Acer Aspire 5520-5908 laptop comes on for abt 5sec and goes

Please my Acer Aspire 5520 laptop has this problem that worrys me a lot. When I switch it on, it comes on for about five seconds and goes off then comes back goes off again. it will repeat this cycle until the power(mains) is removed. The screen does not even come on. I have taken out the CD ROM drive, the memory(RAM) and even the processor but still the problem persist.please i need help. thanks

Is the battery dilled? Try starting it w/out the battery.
