I've been using a standard Radio Shack miniature center-tapped 1K:8 ohm
audio transformer in a push-pull transistor configuration to drive a
piezo element to get about 143 dB of sound. But RS has discontinued this
useful little xformer and I want to replace it with something better.
Does anyone know the turns ratio to step 3 volts up to about 100 volts?
