A Complete Idiot Tries To Question A Self Evident Truth

Guest
Genius isn't necessary to admit to a self evident truth but only a
complete moron would try to deny one.

Problem with that is it's often complete morons who subscribe to what
they think are self-evident truths.
Well? Don't keep us settin' on the edges of our chairs.

We're waiting for you to try to question -- not refute, not find a
counter example, only question -- the following self evident truth:

"Freedom of speech is a precondition of each and every free trade."

Try your best too clever by half word games and I'll milk them like
cows.

There is no past. There is no future.

Life exists now. Ever remember being alive other than now?

Thinking about the past or future is just the mind projecting, but
still happens now.

Become conscious of this, and you can leave the milking to the dairy
farmers, because all truth will become self evident.

Is there any censorship of economic information in Singapore?

Is there any censorship of economic information in Singapore?
That depends on what your definition of "economic
information" is. Clearly, Singapore does not have
freedom of speech, in any case. So, back to the
question (and no dodging this time):

Are there any free trades in Singapore?

We were discussing 'self' evident. Thats all there is.

Does this hold true if speech itself is not a precondition for each and
every trade?

If action, which must take place in any trade, implies speech then
wouldn't it be more accurate to say that it is 'freedom of action' that
is the precondition but isn't the act of trading done under given and
agreed upon restrictions?

If actions are willingly restricted would this mean that it is 'free
will' that is the basic precondition to 'free trade'?

Since willingly restricting action is done for a reason, doesn't being
able to reason freely a precondition also and since trade is a social
activity, reason not only has to be free but also be rational. Can a
trade take place without the precondition of rationality?

More milking.

If a rationale given in a trade is, for instance, "Cars love Shell
gasoline", obviously an irrational statement, yet a trade is still done,
doesn't this removing rational thought as a given precondition? Can a
rational trade take place based upon irrational reasoning? Is an
irrational trade a "free trade"?

Another bucket?

The question was whether you do anything useful.
I am sure that you, alexy, consider everything you do as being useful. The
question might be whether very many other people consider what you do as
being useful.

What does that have
to do with logic?
All depends on your definition of logic, and I see that you did not define
the word in this context. However, I am sure that if you don't understand
someone (else) then you will call them "illogical".

And, for anyone else reading this thread, I assert that "alexy" is a
machine that operates with levers, gears, hydraulic fluid, and not flesh
and blood (his hydraulic fluid is cold), and has a cash register for a
brain. No heart.

You could also call him a "money vampire" that sucks up money like a
vacuum cleaner and doesn't worry about poor people, laid off people,
offshored jobs...nothing like that...as long as he gets his dividends from
Walmart, ROI on the stock market, and such things as helping CEOs screw
their underlings.
