Hi!...Does anyone knows of a supplier of AC filter capacitors?.
I'm looking for a 2MFD @260VAC...I've checked with my local suppliers for
electronics parts and none of them carry them nor advise me of where I can get
it.

Search for "motor run capacitor". They are readily available and
rated for continuous AC.

What is it for if not an induction motor?

www.mouser.com They stock a wide variety of capacitors, including AC motor
capacitors. By sure that you look for the right kind.. "Motor start"
capacitors are not the same as "motor run" capacitors. The starting
capacitors will not stand up to continuous duty that is required by the run
capacitors. Look for Metallized Polypropylene capacitors.
