Hello,
I've got experience in building curcuits but not designing them.
I've been looking hard for about 4 months now for a proper schematic
for a 9vdc to ac power inverter (stepper).
One of the biggest problems was finding the transformers, but I got
my hands on a few.
I found this website:
http://tacashi.tripod.com/elctrncs/inverter/inverter.htm
It has a sample diagram for a power inverter.
I have two questions:
1) the tramsformers I have are 5 pins x 5 pins. One side has a piece
of tape over two of the pins. I'm assuming this is the designation
for the feedback. On the other side of the feedback, do I use the two
outside pins for the output voltage?
2) I can't find transistors. I've tried calling digikey but they
aren't able to tell me an equivelent. Well they may be able to, but I
don't know the specifics of their questions.
The transistor listed is BD243C, 6amps, 65 watts. 3 mhz frequency.
Thanks a lot for your help.
