The final investigation report into the 737 MAX crash of ET302 laid blame solely on Boeing

French and U.S. critiques — a rare fracture among the participating safety authorities — don’t dispute Boeing’s role, but present a fuller picture of the cause

Final report on Boeing 737 MAX crash sparks dispute over pilot error
French and U.S. safety agencies, dissenting from the report into the 2019 crash in Ethiopia, cited pilot error as a contributing factor in addition to the flawed MCAS system.

Javier de Luis, an MIT aerospace professor whose sister Graziella de Luis died on Flight ET302, expressed anguish that the disputing accounts could sow doubt about the primary cause of the two MAX accidents that together killed 346 people

“The fact that this airplane was allowed to fly with a system, that if one sensor failed, would kill everybody on board — not once but twice — is a monumental failure not on Ethiopian but on Boeing and the FAA,” de Luis said.

He is awesome. There is also \"Mayday: Air Disasters\" , a CBC
program on there as well.
There\'s also the source material available in the public domain at
ntsb.gov

Some idiot on SED said the pilot was doing just like \"he was supposed to\"- looking in the troubleshooting handbook to solve the issue. Really quite the height of stupidity to be doing that at 4,000 ft ground clearance with a decent rate of 30,000 ft/ min.

Not a lot of mention about the corruption in Boeing\'s slipshod training and certification of pilots to qualify them for flying. If you had to zoom in on a real root cause, you would start there.
