5V out from 2AA DC-DC converters?

Hi,

I am looking for a small, dc-dc boost converter that will output 5V@
100mA from LESS THAN 2.5 V in. I might consider building such a circuit
if it were simple enough, but it seems like such a common application
that I thought that it might already exist as a complete, oem pc-board
or module, and could possibly be pretty small since it only needs to
provide 100mA.

I basically want to power a pic mcu and some leds from 2 (or even one)
alkaline or NI-MH battery with good efficiency over the life of the
batteries.

Any ideas?
