I need to get a matched pair of 2SK170 (low noise jfet). I tried Google
but I haven't had much luck. Any suggestions for possible suppliers?

Thanks,

John

Siliconix has "always" had matched pairs (in one case) available.
Check out what they have against your specs (Vdd max, channel, Rds on,
etc).

You could just buy a small batch of similar FETs and match them yourself.
You'll need to make a small test unit.

He's looking for a matched low noise JFET Siliconix no longer makes low
noise JFETs.

I'd suggest Interfet.

Toshiba in Japan or Interfet in Texas are the only options you have for
pairs low low noise JFETs.

True, though I'd rather not if I can get a matched pair. However
I still need to get the unmatched ones. My problem is finding a supplier
AT ALL for the 2SK170. I'd imagine a specialist audio parts
supplier would have them but as I said, Google didn't find
anything.

Anyone know a supplier for small quantities of these things?

Thanks,

John

http://findchips.com/

showed Newark (in 10 days) and Area 51 ESG (in stock) as having them.
