I purchased this 25 years ago !!
It still works, but it is time for it to go.
The glass tray broke when i was
mirowaving a bag of popcorn.
The glass was VERY hot when it broke.
This oven must weight 80 pounds.
OK... what is my question you ask.
Well .. Is this oven an antique ??
I have :
Brand : Amana
Model : RR-7DA

Normally anything that is more than 25 years of age is considered antique,
except for people (I hope). Some types of items are classified as antique
if over 20 years of age.

You may still be able to find a replacement glass if you call the
manufacture, or look around at places that service microwave ovens. The
small private shops that service these, are the ones that tend to be better
at having or finding older type parts.

The glass tray may cost about $20 to about $50 on the average for many of
the models. If the oven is working properly and you like it, why not replace
it, if you can find something that will fit to it.

As for it being an antique and you want to save it, then I would suggest
getting a glass tray, and then restoring it back to new condition. If you
can find the original box it came in, including the original user
instructions and warranty papers, then this would add to its value. In
another 30 to 50 years, it will be a real classic! But, will you be around
in 30 years to brag about it? If you have young children, they will have
the benefit of it.

I've heard for radios, and I guess by extension electronics in general,
the time period is 50 years to be considered antique. However, some
devices like an NEC calculator or early Altair may have an intrinsic
collectible value simply due to their rarity and as examples of
foundational technology. The key word is "rare". Another is someone
willing to buy it for its perceived worth. <g>
