21" NEC Multisync E1100 with shrinked picture.

Hello all,

I have an 21" NEC Multisync E1100 monitor which does not show
the hall picture on te screen. The picture starts 2" under and ends 2"
above the sreen. Can anyone help me to solve this problem.

Is the picture too small or just shifted up? Does the vertical position
control have any effect?

Check for high ESR capacitors in the vertical deflection amp section.
This is a commoin cause in many types of TV sets and monitors.
