21" Monitor

Just picked up a 21" dell CRT monitor
Only problem there is a repeating shadow of all text, lines, etc.. thats
going from the object to the right side of the screen
Any ideas whats wrong with this thing and how it can be fixed if possible?

Thanks, that was it
I bought the $20 belkin cable had the same problems.
tried addaing a extension cable to see what would happen, made the problem
much worse.
returned the belkin for a $8 no name cable w/triple shielding
It did the trick!
The belkin cable was nice, just didnt have any shielding.

My own experience has been that it's caused by a bad input (video)
cable. Hopefully it's detachable at the monitor. Get a good quality
one. $20-40 USD. for a Belkin VGA cable. 21" = worth it.

If you want any ideas, how about posting some basic troubleshooting
information. It is not like we all have a crystal ball and can see inside
your monitor and make any kind of measurements through the internet.

knowledge and experience.

Bad capacitors on the neck board are the usual cause of this.
