I notic a 200M ohm resistor was connected to the axia of the rubber
platen of the high speed printer. I belive the purpose of the resistor
is to drain the static charge create by the platen when
paper are feed in high speed. I am curious why a 200M ohm resistor was
selected instead of a zero ohm resistor. the 200M ohm can actually act
as a insulator, which is very poor in electrical conduction. Does any
person know the reason ? thank for any explaination.
