He is not my favorite person. But he is talking about 3% mortality of those who catch the disease which is likely not a realistic figure.
Still, he is a whack job. Not only having a license, but he is affiliated with several prestigious organizations. That may change in the future.
Someone here had seen him on a talk show promoting hydroxychloroquine as if it should mean something that the great Dr. Oz was saying it so it should be given some credence. Yeah, give 'em Creedence Clearwater Revival.

This begs the question: what is an "acceptable" mortality rate? Zero? Because zero will never happen - there will always be some risk.

How come guys seem to rarely use these lines on their wives? "There is
