1SS31 diode

From an old TV schematic, I have a diode that[I think] is '1SS31' (the schematic
is with a very bad quality, so it could be '1SS81').
Anybody here knows what could this diode be?

Get a copy of the NTE semiconductor substitute software.
It lists both numbers.
Google for website.
Eskay.

A 1SS81 is a 150V, 200mA, 400mW, 100ns silicon diode in a DO-35
package. It is used in switching stages.

The 1SS31 is a 50V, 50mA germanium diode typically used for
demodulation circuits.

So I guess it's a 1SS31.
I've downloaded the NTE software and found all the info i needed. Thanks
all!

It's free. But there's a problem, their server is slooooooow. Of 2 downloads,
both came corrupted (although on a PDF file, which I just ignored).

Open www.nteinc.com. Click on 'Download cross reference software.'.
Follow the instructions.
