Does anyone know where I could obtain the following, it appears that's its
NLA from my supplier (being in the UK)

Sony Turntable model PS333 - Part required is the "pitch" control which is a
10K variable resistor

Circuit ref RV3

Can anyone advise of where I could try.

JJ

Try PartsExpress.com or Digkey.com or mouser.com .
One of them should have them

Physically damaged or just erratic function? Often a clean / lube is all
these controls need.

I've done all that..WD40 stuff but this is really worn, its only when I hold
it to one side it behaves itself.

JJ

OK, but WD40 isn't for cleaning potentiometers. I suppose it would work, but
it might damage the carbon element over time.
